This is my first, ever, award! It’s an honor to be nominated, especially by such a wonderful blogger! Thanks sooo much to Anita from Discovering Your Happiness. She is such a beautiful person, and it shows through her blog! I read her posts all the time. They never fail to make me feel better. I believe God sent this woman to the blogging community to lend a helping hand to others finding their peace.
So, again, I want to say thank you, Anita! I know God will bless you for all of your work you have done and will do!

Anita’s questions for me
Q: What do you have planned for the upcoming weekend?
A: If the coming hurricane decides to turn around, I might just go to the Muscadine Jubilee. It’s a little festival my town has every year in September. Also, I’m planning to bring back “The Hypochondriac tries” with something very few people (if anyone) around here has tried! So, hopefully I’m able to get it!
Q: What do you love to do in your spare time?
A: The rare occasions when I’m not breaking up fights between the kiddos, you can find me listening to music and drawing. That, or just sitting on the front porch enjoying the sounds of nature and the muffled sounds of Dillon trying to control the kids. Ah, music to my ears.
Q: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
A: I can’t really say exactly. We never know what God has planned for us, but I do hope to see myself reaching my goals or closer to reaching them. I think one of the most important things, is having control over my anxiety and depression. In five years, I want to see myself as a more peaceful person, helping others to get through their battles, as well.
Q: If you could give life advice, what would it be?
A: One of the best pieces of advice I’ve gotten was from my grandmother. “Just take one day at a time.” (I see this quote everywhere, but I heard it from her, first) When she says this, I think back to the Bible: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34
Q: Tea or coffee?
A: Hmm… This is one of the hardest questions I’ve ever had. I used to drink coffee all day every day, but since it makes me nervous, I limited myself to one cup and only in the mornings. I drink tea during the day, when I have it. Of course, I’m pretty sure the question stated means hot tea, but if we are broadening the type of tea, I would pick sweet iced tea, any day. Y’know, being from the South and all. Y’all.
Q: How long have you been blogging for?
A: About five months. I’m still new at this, so I have a lot to learn, but in the short time I have been blogging, I’ve definitely learned a lot and met some awesome people!
